& Rally.
As every year Garda lake becomes theatre of sports manifestations and
events of national and international importance, a series of events and
meeting with the great public. Thousand colors make the road chasing the
bolides of the Thousand Miles International Rally, on the days:
29/30/31 March 2001 with departure previewed from Desenzano of Garda (BS).
Kart.
South
Garda Karting (Lonato), earth of motors and champions; one of the
most beautiful Italian karting trackart that has seen to compete very many
champions. The circuit along 960 m is articulated around tribunes well
capable of 2500 'tifosi' fans. On demand a lot of services are available
for the runners: to lease Go-Kart, MiniKart, Minibikes, from summer ' 99
new the two-seat Kart and the Go-bike.
Bike. Unforgettable routes and places may be reached in mountainbike.
Actually it is one of the sport more practised around the lake.
Hourse.
Numerous are the
possibilities to carry out horse rides following routes far away from the
city traffic and the chaos, valuing therefore the contact between mankind
and nature.
Sailboats
and WindSurf.
While the wind of the more beautiful memories linked to previous editions
blows fast, at the Centomiglia are preparing the sails and the
hulls of the last generation, animated from liveries and showy colors,
shining shadings. Also this year very many crews are ready for the
challeng on the greens waters of the Italian sport lake. The Centomiglia
reached its 51a edition, also this year will leave from the square of
Bogliaco setup for the great occasion. Via
col vento, (gone
with the wind), that is the magnificent exhibitions of the best windsurfers
of the lake, the addresses where to learn immediately this beautiful
sport.
Golf.
For the sport and the nature
lovers, the Garda proposes a symbol of the sport culture: the Golf
di Bogliaco,
situated between the greens morainic hills in the north-west zone of the
Garda, lies down in a natural valley placed at approximately 100 meters of
height. Totally dipped in a nature of cypresses, olive trees and of other
typical plants of Mediterranean vegetation, it can be considered between
the most evocative golf of the zone. The elevated position offers a
splendid panoramic of the lake. Little more south, remaining in the
splendid panoramic context, the Garda
Golf. Here, the
delicate and moderated climate of the Garda Lake allows to play to golf
all the year round. The landscaped context of the Garda
Golf lives in a
characteristic natural environmental where cypresses, vines, secular small
wood of ulives trees and oaks stir themselves harmoniously with the blue
of the lake, delineating that Italian landscape typically that always has
been therefore beloved to artists and the foreign poets of passage.
Continuing
towards Calvagese
della Riviera (BS) we find the Golf
& Country Club Arzaga. A beautiful property dipped in the
greens hills of the lake, the original monastery of the '440 today
transformed in very luxury hotel, where is available a welfare
center in contact with the terme of Saturnia.
Watching
towards the veronese coast, the
Golf Club Ca' Degli Ulivi 18 + 9 holes - Par 72 - SSS 72. and
reaching the Scaliger city's suburbs you can find the Golf
Club Verona with a route of 18 holes, length 6037 m, par 72, S.S.S. 72.
